The Summer Playoff schedule has come out and as always we managed to draw the first game against what seems like the same team every time. Sigh… we did squander a 1st or 2nd place finish over the past two weeks, so I suppose we’re mostly to blame. My feeling says we still would have been playing first anyway.

This could be a couple tough weeks ahead of us. Hopefully we whoop some ass this week, cuz next week is gonna be tough no matter what way you look it with Hawkeye and E out.

Well I’m pretty sure we took ourselves out of the 1st seed last night by losing 2 of 3. The other team was pretty ‘nice’ though as one of their guys managed to say that word about 200 times over the course of the match. I’m all for being pumped up but mix it up once in awhile. Nice, Great, That a’way, etc. We still managed to down a couple pepperoni pizzas after which luckily wasn’t burnt.

Playoffs next week……Todd said he’s hurting and popping ibuprofen like it’s his job so this may be our time to pump it up and win it all.

We ended up in 3rd place, one game out of second. Jason was nice enough to take some pics of us last Thursday so hopefully those will be up soon. Playoffs this Thursday, I’m all jacked up.

6 wins, 0 losses. It was cold.

And of course you thought you heard we’re the team to beat…. He actually said your bag is neat. Which it was pretty cool, can’t believe they’re making them look like jeans now a days. I’m pretty excited to watch the office tonight, haven’t heard from anyone yet if it’s good or not.

Thanks to the help of Chris as our sub for Scoop, we can now chalk up another W for the good guys. (Picture of Chris as our full-time sub to come) We smoked SBQ in game 1 & 3, but of once again we couldn’t break the curse of winning game 2, even though it was only by 2 points. Even though we’re the all-time underdog team in this league, Todd informed me last night that we’re the team to beat. He might have just been saying that because he’s a nice guy, or maybe we truly are the team to beat. “We’re Coming!”

Looking ahead there are 2 more weeks to go and spring playoffs start. We have a double header next week playing Ass-Sets & Disconnected. Ass-sets is Kristen’s team, so I imagine that will be a good game-win or lose. (preferably win) Then we end the regular season playing Frekze. Look forward to updates on those games.

Don’t worry team pictures are coming… We just have to co-ordinate it.

Since our last post we have been playing quite well. We still have the second game fluke. We haven’t won the middle game all season. I’m not sure what it is. We need to break out of that before playoffs though, cuz we don’t need to be playing 3 games all night long.

We need to get our team shirts in order and we’ve been passing ideas around.. if anyone has something good let us know we’ll gladly consider it.
